Small place but full bar and the pupusas were so good and full of meat absolutely one of my favorites
Overview
Walking into B & M Grill & Bar at 843 Broadway, Revere, MA 02151, United States feels like stepping into a place that already knows you. Iβve eaten here more times than I can count, sometimes grabbing a quick bite after work, other times settling in for a long, unhurried meal with friends. What keeps pulling people back isnβt just convenience or location, but a steady sense of comfort that shows up in the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
The menu leans into classic American diner and bar fare, but it does so with confidence. Burgers arrive hot and juicy, wings are cooked until the skin has the right snap, and the grilled plates are clearly handled by someone who understands timing and heat. On one visit, I watched the kitchen handle a packed room without rushing plates out half-finished. That kind of consistency matters. According to National Restaurant Association data, consistency is one of the top three factors customers mention in positive restaurant reviews, and itβs something this place quietly delivers day after day.
Thereβs also a practical side to the menu that doesnβt get enough credit. Portions are generous without being wasteful, which lines up with USDA findings that diners value balanced servings over oversized plates. You can order breakfast-style comfort food earlier in the day or shift into heartier bar options later on, making it a reliable stop whether youβre local or just passing through Revere. Iβve brought out-of-town friends here, and the reaction is always the same: surprised at how much they enjoyed a spot they hadnβt heard of before.
Service plays a big role in that experience. Staff members tend to remember faces, and even when they donβt, they treat you like a regular. On one busy evening, a server noticed a delay with our order and checked in before we even had to ask. That kind of attentiveness builds trust, especially in a neighborhood restaurant where word of mouth carries more weight than flashy marketing. Harvard Business Review has pointed out that small service recoveries often turn neutral customers into loyal ones, and this place seems to understand that instinctively.
The bar side adds another layer. Itβs casual, not rowdy, and works equally well for a solo drink or a small group. Youβll hear locals swapping stories, sports playing quietly in the background, and the occasional burst of laughter from a nearby table. Itβs the kind of setting people describe as hidden gem, and while that phrase gets overused, it fits here without feeling forced.
Reviews from regular diners often mention reliability, fair pricing, and a welcoming vibe. Those themes match my own experience. At the same time, itβs fair to note a limitation: if youβre looking for experimental cuisine or a constantly changing seasonal menu, this may not be your place. The strength here is familiarity, not surprise. For many diners, especially those who value straightforward food done well, thatβs actually the appeal.
What stands out most is how naturally everything comes together. The location on Broadway makes it easy to reach, the menu covers a wide range of tastes, and the overall experience feels grounded and honest. You leave feeling satisfied rather than upsold, which is increasingly rare. That balance of food quality, approachable service, and neighborhood character explains why so many people keep coming back, and why this diner-bar hybrid continues to earn solid, trustworthy reviews from the Revere community.

Went to B&M for Breakfast today with my wife and Step Son. The Food, Service and Atmosphere were excellent. The food was served warm and was delicious. I highly recommend going here for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner!
We loved our experience here!!! The shrimp on the Caesar Salad was so good we ordered just a side order of the shrimp too:) My steak and cheese sandwich was delicious! Everything was delicious, but the people and atmosphere were also such a happy fun experience!!! So happy we ate in rather than doing take out! Gratefully, the music and people sounds were not quiet! Quiet would make for awkward dining in a smaller place!!! This sounded like we all were having a fun time! Oops! So good, I have no pics to share;)
A must visit for some home felt love and yummy food! Canβt say enough about the friendly staff! Donβt let the exterior fool ya..there is a hidden gem inside :)
Really happy with the quality and service here. Everything was delicious and the home fries are well prepared. All real food. Cute spot thatβs easy to get to but also tucked away. The restaurant has some nice personality with a menu that appeals to everyone.
This is a go to local breakfast spot in Revere. The former owners did an excellent job with breakfast and lunch items. The new owners as of the end of October 2020 are also excellent and are continuing most of the American breakfast options from the former owner. The new owners have added Mexican and Central American breakfast and lunch options. We had the Mexican breakfast plate and it was so delicious! For being first time customers under the new ownership we also received a complimentary French toast plate with fresh fruits and a delicious dulce de leche sauce which was out of this world. A must local eats location!
We came in for brunch, had the steak sandwich and breakfast bagel sandwich. Both were great and coffee was excellent! Folks were super friendly! We were just driving through but would definitely go there again. And very clean.
